  Solid oak wood flooring

   

  Solid Oak Wood Flooring brings a feeling of permanence and longevity to your home.  Some of our solid wood products are suitable for use with underfloor heating due to the unique method of manufacture. However, we do not recommend using solid oak flooring in basements or cellars.  We provide superior quality solid oak wood flooring solutions for all sorts of floors, including domestic as well as commercial situations. 

  Our oak flooring is available prefinished or unfinished giving you the flexibility to choose colour and surface finish on site.  It is availbale either 16mm or 22mm thick and a range of widths 120mm to 180mm.  Oak flooring is available in mixed widths.  The boards are supplied in random lengths from 600mm to 2600mm  and come with a micro bevel.  The longer length planks give the room a feeling of flow and space.

  Engineered oak flooring

  Engineered oak flooring can provide the ideal solution for your project.  It benefits from a multi layered construction which gives increased stability. These floors are available in a range of thicknesses - 12mm, 14mm and 21mm.  The surface oak veneer is between 3 and 6 mm depending on the overall thickness of board required. The floor boards are available in a range of widths from 100mm to 220mm  and can be supplied in mixed widths.  The planks are supplied in packs with the majority of boards 2200mm long.  The boards have a micro bevel. Engineered oak wood flooring has the same surface characteristics as solid oak and is available in different grades.   

  In most instances engineered oak floors are suitable for use with under floor heating. These floors can be used in kitchens and bathrooms where there are higher levels of humidity.  Engineered wood floors can either be fully adherred to the sub floor with nails or glue or they can be floated on a suitable underlay.  Our oak flooring is available either prefinished, which gives an instant result or unfinished giving the flexibility of choosing colour and surface finishing on site.

  Oak parquet blocks -...

  Oak parquet blocks are suitable for both domestic and commercial floors. Our solid oak parquet blocks are available 16mm or 22mm thick, they are 280mm long and 70mm wide.   Parquet blocks are supplied in either prime grade or rustic grade.  Either grade can be tumbled which gives an aged appearance to the blocks.  Tumbled parquet is sold unfinished or with an oiled finish. However square edge parquet blocks only come unfinished so that sanding, gap filling and laquering can be done in situ.  In most instances oak parquet blocks can be used with under floor heating.  Solid parquet flooring blocks should be fully adherred to the sub floor.

  Whilst we currently only stock the 280mm x 70mm parquet blocks, our manufacturers also make other sizes, for instance the larger parquet which is particularly in vogue and we are able to ship this in to order.
